Cancellation Policy

How to change a selection, request cancellation of an actual purchase and keep a clear record of the agreed outcome.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

A request and an approved cancellation are different

A local demonstration order has nothing to cancel with the business. For an accepted real purchase, contact the business promptly and wait for confirmation of the outcome.

01Demonstration checkout

Submitting this website’s order form creates a local simulation only. It does not create an accepted purchase, collect payment or arrange dispatch, so no cancellation request is needed for a simulated order.

02Before completing checkout

You may remove products from the cart, change your selection or leave checkout. Cart selections may remain in this browser until removed. An individual Buy Now selection does not automatically purchase the product.

03Cancelling an actual purchase

For purchases agreed separately with V A ELECTRICALS, email care.vaelectricals@gmail.com promptly with the accepted order details and the items you wish to cancel. A cancellation request must be acknowledged; sending a request alone does not confirm that dispatch has stopped.

04Before dispatch

If the actual order has not been prepared or dispatched, we will review whether it can be cancelled or amended. Availability of cancellation depends on the confirmed purchase terms and the current order stage. Any material condition should be disclosed before purchase.

05After dispatch

An order already in transit may require a return or delivery arrangement rather than a straightforward cancellation. Contact us so the available next steps and any relevant costs can be explained. Do not assume that refusing a parcel resolves the order.

06Partial cancellation or amendments

Identify each affected product and specification clearly. If an agreed amendment changes the price or delivery arrangements, the revised amount and terms should be confirmed before proceeding.

07Payments and records

The static website takes no payment and cannot issue refunds. If money was paid under a separately agreed transaction and a refund is due, the amount, method and timing will be communicated directly. Keep the written cancellation acknowledgement and purchase records.

08Checking the stage of your purchase

Before requesting cancellation, establish whether you have only browsed the catalogue, generated a local confirmation or separately agreed a real purchase. The website does not send an order, take a deposit or arrange delivery. If you have communicated directly with the business and received acceptance, refer to that conversation and the actual order record. This distinction helps avoid unnecessary follow-ups about a demonstration reference that the business has never received.

09Information to include in a cancellation request

State clearly whether you want to cancel the whole purchase, remove a particular item or change its specification. Include the actual purchase reference or relevant confirmation, the product name and quantity, and the contact details used for that transaction. A short reason can help explain the request, but do not send unrelated private documents. If a delivery has already been arranged, mention any dispatch information available so the business can assess the current stage.

10Specification changes and replacement selections

A request to change a rating, colour or quantity may alter availability, the total price or delivery arrangements. The replacement choice should be confirmed before treating the original selection as amended. For electrical products, review the proposed specification with a qualified electrician where needed. In the local cart, remove an existing product before adding its revised specification; changing a visible selector after adding an item does not itself rewrite the saved selection.

11Acknowledgement and agreed outcome

Keep the business’s written response stating which items have been cancelled or amended and whether anything remains scheduled for supply. If the request is under review, do not assume it is complete. Any effect on amounts already paid, delivery charges or the remaining order should be explained before the outcome is finalised. Where clarification is needed, refer to the same actual purchase conversation so the request is not confused with a separate enquiry.

12Delivery refusal and missed contact

Refusing an arranged delivery or being unavailable does not necessarily provide the information needed to resolve an accepted purchase. Contact the business to discuss the reason and available next steps. If goods have already been dispatched, a return or redelivery arrangement may be required. Any proposed charge or condition should be explained in relation to the agreed transaction. This policy does not impose an automatic cancellation penalty or a blanket redelivery fee.

13Keeping accurate records

Retain the original purchase agreement, your cancellation request and the final acknowledgement until the matter is resolved. Where only part of the order changes, keep the revised product list and payable amount as well. A new simulation on this website does not replace those records or notify the business of the amendment. If a refund was agreed for a real payment, ask for the amount, method and expected timing and retain the completion confirmation.

14Before sending a cancellation request

  • Confirm that the purchase was accepted outside the website demonstration.
  • Identify the exact products and quantities affected.
  • Ask whether dispatch has started and what options remain available.
  • Keep written confirmation of the cancellation, amendment and any agreed financial adjustment.
