CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of the information you share, what stays in your browser, and how to contact V A ELECTRICALS about your privacy.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Your information, clearly explained

The storefront uses local browser storage for product selections. It does not send the checkout or contact form to our team, and it does not collect online payments.

01Scope and transparency

This policy describes information used by this static V A ELECTRICALS storefront. The order and contact forms are demonstrations: submitted details are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to our team by these forms. Emailing us separately sends information through your email provider.

02Information you provide

The order form asks for your name, email, delivery address and optional notes. The contact form asks for your name, email and message. Please do not include sensitive personal information or payment credentials. Cash on Delivery is the only displayed payment method.

03Local browser storage

The site stores product identifiers, selected specifications, quantities and temporary checkout selections in localStorage so the cart can survive refreshes. Personal address and contact-form information is not saved to localStorage. Confirmation details exist only in the current page and disappear when it is closed or refreshed.

04How information is used

Product selections are used to show your cart, calculate a sample total and prepare a simulated order summary. If you contact us by email, we use your message to respond to your enquiry and discuss any separately arranged purchase.

05Hosting and third parties

The hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as an IP address, browser type and access time, when serving website files. This storefront does not embed analytics, advertising trackers or online payment services. Your browser and email provider operate under their own privacy practices.

06Control and retention

You can remove cart items using the cart controls, or clear this website’s site data in your browser. Browser storage is specific to your device and browser. Avoid entering private information on shared devices. Separately emailed enquiries should be directed to us for access, correction or deletion requests; any applicable recordkeeping duties may affect what can be removed.

07Security and changes

No internet or device storage is risk-free. Keep your device protected and do not share confidential information through optional notes. We may update this policy when the storefront’s operation changes; the date above identifies this version.

08Information we do not request

You do not need to create an account to browse products or use the cart. There is no account password, identity-document upload or payment-card form. Please limit optional notes to information relevant to the product or delivery enquiry. Avoid entering bank information, identity numbers, health information or confidential instructions. If more information is needed for a separately arranged purchase, its purpose should be explained through that direct conversation.

09What happens during a browser session

As you move from a product to the cart and order page, the site carries over the chosen product, colour, specification and quantity. The displayed price is calculated from the catalogue. Entered delivery details are used to build the confirmation on that page, rather than being stored as an account profile. Your browser may independently offer autofill or retain form history according to its settings; those browser features are outside this storefront’s own storage controls.

10Clearing selections on a shared device

Removing an item from the cart updates the locally saved selection. Successfully submitting the demonstration removes the purchased products and clears its temporary checkout selection. Other cart products may remain when you use an individual product’s Buy Now option. To remove all locally stored selections, use your browser’s controls to clear site data. Closing the tab alone may not erase the cart, so review site storage before leaving a shared or publicly accessible device.

11Enquiries sent by email

When you choose an email link, your email application opens and any message you send is handled outside the local form demonstration. Include only what is necessary for your enquiry. Email conversations may contain your address, contact details, product requirements or records of a separately agreed transaction. Ask us directly about handling or correcting information in those messages. Deleting the cart in your browser does not delete correspondence that you separately sent by email.

12Requests concerning your information

For a privacy enquiry, describe whether your concern relates to browser selections, a sent email or a separately arranged purchase. Provide enough context to identify the relevant conversation without attaching unnecessary private documents. Where a request concerns another person’s information, we may need clarification about your authority to make it. We will review the request in context and explain any information needed to respond; this page does not promise an automated deletion process or fixed response period.

13External services and future changes

This version does not include customer accounts, advertising networks or analytics scripts. Links that open an email application or another service are subject to that service’s own handling of information. If the storefront later introduces a real submission service or additional data collection, this policy should be updated to describe that operation before it is used. Check the last-updated date when returning to the site, especially before sharing new personal information.

14Practical privacy checklist

  • Enter only information needed for your enquiry or selected products.
  • Review the delivery details before generating a local confirmation.
  • Use browser settings to control autofill, history and stored site data.
  • Send privacy requests to the business email rather than entering them in the simulated contact form.

15Contact

For privacy questions, email care.vaelectricals@gmail.com and describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive details.
