Return & Refund Policy
A practical guide to reporting product issues, requesting a return and understanding how an agreed resolution is handled.
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Start with the product and purchase details
For a real product concern, email the business before sending anything back. Demonstration orders do not collect funds, so they do not create a refundable payment.
01Scope
This website does not collect money or place real orders. A simulated order has no payment to refund. The guidance below explains how to raise a concern about a purchase separately agreed with V A ELECTRICALS.
02Report a product concern
Contact care.vaelectricals@gmail.com with proof of purchase, the product and specification, a description of the issue and relevant photos. Report damage, an incorrect item or missing parts as soon as you notice them so the circumstances can be reviewed.
03Condition and inspection
Keep the item, accessories, packaging and purchase records while your request is assessed. Do not continue using a product that appears unsafe. Electrical installation, alteration or damage after receipt may affect the assessment, but does not remove any rights that apply by law.
04Return authorisation
Discuss a return with us before sending an item. We will need to confirm the correct destination, packaging requirements and how the item will be inspected. Do not send products to an unconfirmed address or assume that an unsolicited shipment has been authorised.
05Possible resolution
Depending on the issue, inspection and the applicable purchase terms, an appropriate resolution may include replacement, correction or refund. No blanket refund eligibility, fixed return window or manufacturer warranty is promised by this demonstration. Confirm applicable terms before a real purchase.
06Costs and refund arrangements
Responsibility for collection or return delivery should be explained when the request is reviewed. Where a refund is agreed, its amount, method and expected timing will be confirmed directly. The website has no payment gateway and cannot process a refund itself.
07Incorrect specification or change of mind
Check ratings, dimensions and application with a qualified electrician before purchase. Contact us to ask whether a change-of-mind or specification return can be accepted for your actual order; approval is not automatic and should be confirmed before returning.
08Preparing your request
A clear request helps distinguish a damaged product, an incorrect supply, missing accessories and a compatibility question. Include the product name, selected specification, quantity affected and proof of the actual purchase. Describe when the issue was noticed and whether the item has been opened, installed or used. Relevant photographs can assist initial assessment, but should not require you to dismantle an electrical item or expose wiring. Keep the product in a safe condition while seeking guidance.
09Electrical faults and installation concerns
Stop using a product if you suspect an electrical fault or physical damage that could make it unsafe. Do not attempt internal repairs or energise the item solely to produce evidence for a return request. Some problems may concern the installation, connected equipment or compatibility rather than the product itself; a qualified electrician may be needed to assess that distinction safely. This policy does not promise technical diagnosis through photographs or imply that a catalogue rating guarantees suitability.
10What should accompany an authorised return
Once a return is agreed, follow the confirmed instructions for the product and its accessories. Packaging should protect the goods during transport and keep relevant components together. Include the information requested to identify the purchase, without adding unnecessary personal records. Retain proof of handover or shipment where applicable. The appropriate destination and return method must be confirmed for your request; the published business address should not automatically be treated as an approved return location.
11Assessment and communication
An initial report may need further clarification or inspection before a resolution is agreed. Keep the relevant item available and respond with the requested factual details where practical. The outcome should address the reported issue and the actual purchase terms. Acknowledging an enquiry is not the same as approving a return or refund. If additional inspection is needed, ask how the item will be handled and how the outcome will be communicated before making a shipment.
12Replacement availability and partial issues
If a replacement is appropriate, the available model and specification should be confirmed rather than assumed. A substitute with a different rating or design should not be supplied as equivalent without agreement. Where an order contains several products and only one is affected, identify that item clearly so the request can be assessed at the appropriate scope. Keep unaffected products and their records separate from the concern; a single issue does not automatically cancel an entire order.
13Understanding an agreed refund
For a separately paid purchase, a refund decision should identify the amount and any explanation of charges included or excluded, consistent with applicable rights and the agreed transaction. The method and expected processing time should be stated directly, since no refund is processed by this website. Retain the written agreement and confirmation when completed. Never provide passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary payment credentials in optional website notes or in response to an unverified request.
14Useful information for a product concern
- Actual purchase confirmation or invoice and the affected product specification.
- A brief description of the issue and when it became apparent.
- Relevant photographs taken without unsafe testing or dismantling.
- The requested next step, such as clarification, inspection, replacement or refund review.
15Your rights and support
This policy does not limit rights or remedies available under applicable law. For help, email care.vaelectricals@gmail.com and retain correspondence about the agreed resolution.
